Bio

Maureen has a BA in Fine Arts from Thompson Rivers University (2005), and a BA in Asian Studies with a focus on China and Vietnam from University of Victoria. She is one of the founding members of the Kamloops Printmakers Society.

An avid traveller, she has operated a tour guide travel business, taking clients to five continents in the last seven years. Covid brought a halt to travel, and she has returned to her art studies, focusing on drawing, printmaking, and painting.

She curated a group show in 2003 and a solo show in 2005. She has completed art residencies in Copiapo, Chile; Chongqing, China; Paris, France; and Venice, Italy.
Her latest exhibit was with a group of 8 women, Pulled: Printmaking in a time of Covid, Salmon Arm Art Gallery, in September 2021.
